Location: Grand Junction, CO

The second in a series of houses designed by KDA in the Sienna Creek neighborhood features a healthy mix of lap siding, stone, and stucco. This mix of materials is a cost effective way to both provide an aesthetically pleasing facade and ground the house in its natural surroundings.

The house also showcases a blend of more traditional rooflines clad in asphalt shingles and more modern, single sloping metal roofs. These are complimented by angled columns and brackets that provide support for large overhangs.

Another defining characteristic of the house is its use of outdoor living space. The house is angled to provide a cozy courtyard to allow residents to enjoy the views in a comfortable outdoor space.
